Community Activities
At Waterside Funeral Home, community has always been at the heart of what we do. This Easter, we’re proud to be supporting Waterside Foodbank by collecting Easter eggs to help bring a small but meaningful treat to local families.
Waterside Foodbank currently supports around 250 families each week, and we wanted to do something to ensure that, even during challenging times, children in our community can still enjoy the simple joy of a chocolate egg this Easter. It’s something many of us may take for granted, but for some families, it can make a real difference.
This initiative means a great deal to us. Not only have we already collected over 25 Easter eggs but it has also strengthened our connection with the foodbank. Elliot recently had the opportunity to visit their new community hub and see first-hand the incredible work they do to support local people.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed so far, with donations being accepted until 2 April. Your kindness will help make Easter a little brighter for families in our community.
