We recently had to organise a double family funeral 2 family members passed away within a week of each other - from the first meeting with Summer I was put at ease and felt totally understood. After this Elliot supported me and us through the joint ceremony - the kindness, compassion and time given was fantastic - Elliot went above and beyond what I would have expected of his role. He was sensitive, caring and also enabled and supported my brother and son to assist with carrying the coffin. Elliot not only cared for my mum, brother and son but was exceptionally phenomenal in his support of me throughout preparation, answering all my questions and on the day the efforts that he put in to support me was just amazing. What an asset to the team he is!
On the day the drivers and all staff involved were also brilliant x I would have no hesitation recommending the entire team, thank you all - you all managed to make a very challenging and upsetting situation run smoothly and were so kind x

I can't recommend Waterside Funeral Home enough. By nature, it's never going to be easy to arrange a loved ones funeral, but Elliot, together with Lisa, who assisted initially, helped us to navigate all of the options, to build in some bespoke requests, find a suitable celebrant and offer support and advice. All the while demonstrating great respect and empathy. Elliot's communication was excellent throughout. The service provided by Waterside Funeral Home was absolutely first class. Elliot went over and above to help us create a very special 'celebration' . Thanks to Elliot and the team, the funeral service on the day was flawless. Thank you so very much.

I couldn't recommend Waterside Funeral Home enough. The whole team offered us the support we needed at the time we needed the most. When my mother passed away from the first point of contact right through to the service. They helped us organised and recommended the whole funeral from the moment they arrived to take Mum into their care. They were there to help us every step of the way to after the service was complete.
The original reason for going to them was being local but I can honestly say everything happens for a reason.
For anyone reading this review if you are having to organise a funeral these are definitely the people to see.

We have received really excellent and sympathetic service from Sarah and the team at Waterside every step of the way. They have helped us to create a very personalised journey for our late mother, from a small private cremation service to a large memorial service, including the design and printing of beautiful bespoke orders of service, and finally to arranging the interment of her ashes with our late father and the engraving of his gravestone with her details. We are so grateful and would highly recommend Waterside to other families.

From the first moment we had contact with you to the time after mum's funeral your service has been exceptional. You have shown genuine care for us as a family and helped us gently build the funeral we wanted while giving us expert advice in a time scale with which we could cope. You never rushed us and you were kind, thoughtful and friendly. We were so impressed with the way you respected mum as a person, especially when you knocked on the door of the room where she was lying and told her she had visitors. On the day of the funeral you guided us and supported us and everything went extremely smoothly, which has given us a good memory of a difficult day. Thank you.

We found all the staff very helpful throughout all the arrangements,the funeral service.and the followon. Nothing seemed a bother to adjust and change as we reached completion.
